Floor Pillows – Easy To Make

If you find purchasing floor pillows expensive you can even make them at home. It does not exactly require you to be a master craftsman. By following the simple steps given below, you can make your own customized floor pillow:

  1. You can either refurbish an old floor pillow by removing its old cover or buy a new pillow form, which does not cost much.
  2. Select the kind of fabric you fancy and mark the outline on the backside (of the fabric) by placing the pillow form over it. Cut two pieces of equal size leaving seam margin on all sides.
  3. Hold the two pieces together inside out and stitch three of the sides leaving the fourth one open. After the two pieces are stitched, turn the casing right side out.
  4. Insert the pillow form inside the casing and stitch the open side. And your floor pillow is ready for use.
